Take-down and storage: the part nobody plans for
October 20, 2026 · 3 min read

Lights come down in the cold, on icy roofs, when the holiday goodwill has worn off. It's the step homeowners underestimate most, and the step that ruins the most product.
We remove everything in the first three weeks of January: bulbs, strands, clips, timers and stakes. Nothing stays on your gutters over the summer, which protects both your roofline and the lifespan of the lights.
Strands are tested, labeled per elevation and stored dry so year two is a faster install. Because the design is already measured to your home, returning customers typically get a shorter install window and fewer surprises.
Storage is included in our packages. You get your garage space back, and we keep your lighting plan on file so your home looks the same every December.
